Sunday Service - “From Interest to Commitment: Forward & Higher Together”

Mar 1, 2026    Sr. Pastor Travis M. Tullis

Recognizing that Kingdom Culture emphasizes reliance on King Jesus and interdependence within the Kingdom Community, it becomes clear that there is a distinction between merely attending church and actively aligning with the church’s vision of fruitfulness—a commitment that requires being planted. In the fourth part of the “Built to Belong” series, titled “From Interest to Commitment: Forward & Higher Together,” Senior Pastor Travis Tullis provides the final installment, focusing on being fruitful in Kingdom Culture by staying committed to one another. Key scripture passages for this message are Acts 2:42–47, James 1:22-25, Psalm 92:13–14, Ephesians 2:8-10, 4:15–16, Philippians 1:6, and Luke 9:23.

The example in Acts 2:46-47 shows that the early Church was dedicated to growth through intentionally caring for one another's needs. This suggests that the Christian way of life is meant to nurture a sincere spiritual community, helping individuals avoid feeling the need to withdraw from others. In addition, forming genuine connections with fellow believers supports both stability and growth as we follow God together as Christ’s Church.

Thank you, Senior Pastor Tullis, for leading us forward and higher together, and for reminding us that we must become fruitful image bearers to fulfill God’s original plan by knowing how to welcome others into His Kingdom, so that they feel a sense of belonging as we commit to one another.
