"Message To The Hopeless" Part 1
Declaring there is hope and help as a Christian is not just a statement; it's a journey of faith with Christ Jesus. Hope is the fuel that ignites our faith; without hope, faith becomes hopelessness. Senior Pastor Travis Tullis shares a 'Message to the Hopeless' through scriptures such as Romans 8:9, 14-25, igniting the transformative power of hope and faith in our lives.
Romans 8:24 says, "For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?" Hope that is seen is no longer hope, and a person cannot hope for what they already have in their possession. "But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it," Romans 8:25.
In the midst of waiting, some people quit their faith journey because of the fear and anxiety held on to through past rejections, but Romans 8:15 says, "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father." This scripture reminds us that our hope is in God our Father and His love for us is a source of comfort, a warm embrace that helps us overcome the fear and anxiety of past rejections, reassuring us that we are never alone in our faith journey.
Thank you, Senior Pastor Tullis, for leading us forward and higher together by letting us know that when we cry out to God, our Father for help, through faith, we can expect deliverance. This enables us to face our spiritual battles with patience, hope, and uncompromising faith.
