Sunday Worship - "We Are on A Mission"

As believers, it is our sacred duty to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There should be no shame in this, for as Romans 1:16 declares, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

Pastor Elvis Jackson encourages us to remember that “We Are on A Mission” as servants of Christ Jesus to spread the Gospel to everyone. The focus scriptures are Romans 1:1-17 and Jeremiah 1:5.

Romans 1:14 reveals to us that Paul, the apostle of Jesus Christ, felt that he was a debtor of the word because it saved his life. The same Gospel that saved us from darkness is the same Gospel that we need to share with others so they can have a chance at eternal life. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not just beautiful; it is powerful, and we must share it to show its marvelous light. Let us not be afraid of rejection, lack of confidence, or courage because our ultimate mission should be to spread the Gospel.
