"When Opportunity Knocks"

Do we have what we need in us to see when an opportunity to serve God’s Kingdom has presented itself? “When Opportunity Knocks” do we take advantage of using our talents and gifts to benefit the Heavenly Kingdom?

Assistant Pastor Darcey Stewart Jr. reminds everyone that God gives us good gifts and He deserves the credit and highest praise for our blessings. 

The focus scriptures providing a great understanding of our opportunities to serve God’s Kingdom are 2 Peter 3:3-15, Romans 12:4-13, Ephesians 4:11-15, 1 Corinthians 12:4-14, and Proverbs 18:16.

God gives us gifts and talents, to pursue the greater good for His Kingdom. Many times, God pours out double blessings to us when we serve God’s Kingdom to the best of our ability. 

Unfortunately, we might get disconnected from the right Kingdom mindset. Nonetheless, God’s patience and longsuffering toward us allows us to go to Him to ask for forgiveness. If we humble ourselves, we can see to somebody else’s needs, and love someone who has not been kind to us. This will allow us to see more of God’s opportunities.
