Sunday Service - “Awaiting the Bridegroom: Hope in His Coming” Part 3
Luke 2:10-11 announces the birth of Christ, bringing joy for all people. “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” This verse serves as a great reminder that we can rejoice in “The Joy of His Coming,” as we celebrate Christ’s Kingdom on earth.
In the ongoing message “Awaiting the Bridegroom: Hope in His Coming,” Senior Pastor Travis Tullis reminds us to live with joy as we await Jesus’s return, referencing Luke 2:10-11 and Philippians 4:4.
Christ’s coming changed the world, bringing peace and light, which is why we celebrate His advent with joyfulness. All of creation can rejoice, for our King, Jesus Christ, has arrived to restore humanity through God’s Kingdom. In this Kingdom of Light, things will never be the same because our Lord Jesus Christ has made all things brand new.
Thank you, Senior Pastor Tullis, for leading us forward and higher together, and for reminding us that as the Church, we are called to be the true bride—faithfully preparing for the return of our Bridegroom, of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
