"The Affliction of Self Condemnation"

Mar 3, 2024    Sr. Pastor Travis M. Tullis

Jesus gave His life to redeem the world. This means as Christians we are free from the affliction of self-condemnation. “The Affliction of Self Condemnation” will keep us from our destiny.

Senior Pastor Travis Tullis urges us that through the grace of Jesus Christ, we can overcome self-condemnation through scriptures Romans 8:1-2 and Acts 9:1-9.

The affliction of self-condemnation can cause us to doubt our worth and our ability to connect with the Holy Spirit. When we feel unworthy to walk with Jesus, we can become our own worst enemy.

As a Christian, we are somebody to Jesus Christ; therefore, we must accept who God says we are in His Kingdom. The dark world we live in wants us to believe we are not smart enough, strong enough, or pretty enough to be worthy.

Although we live in a dark world our God will continue to shine His light in darkness. Accepting the light of God and taking it with us wherever we go, be it to work, in our gatherings with friends and family, will allow all things to work out for our good in Christ Jesus according to His plan for our lives.

Thank you, Senior Pastor Tullis, for leading us forward and higher together by knowing that we must forgive not only others but it is also essential that we forgive ourselves so that we can be true ambassadors of God’s Kingdom.
