"God's Love Will Age You"

The greatest gift that God has given to us is love but we must give it back through our love for one another. 

Elder Abria Spence uses scriptures John 3:16, 1 John 3:14, and 1 Corinthians 1:1-13 to explain that “God’s love will Age You.”  Jesus Christ went to Calvary to show us the greatest example of love. He was willing to make the sacrifice that love required. Although Christ was perfect, God still used many imperfect heroes to become ambassadors of love.

Abraham was older in years before he birthed a nation through his son Isaac. Moses’ stuttered but he still led a nation to glory. King David had an affair with another man’s wife, but he still was one of the greatest kings of Israel. Peter, one of Jesus’s most prominent disciples, had a hot temper. When seeking the Lord, we can overcome obstacles life places before us and become a part of God’s marvelous work if we continue to follow God’s promise. Our souls and our spirits will have everlasting life when we abide in God. But we are abiding in death if we abide in sin. Everyone we encounter should know we are God’s children through our love for one another.
