"The Power That Worketh In Us"

The connection we have with God’s word is the ultimate source of our strength. It is through this connection that we gain “the power that works within us” to overcome any struggle or challenge in our lives.

Assistant Pastor Derrek Kegler encourages us through scriptures John 14:1-20, and 16:5-17 to remember that Jesus Christ has deposited His spirit inside of us for supernatural strength.

Jesus’s spirit is greater than anything that this world has to offer. When we allow Jesus's spirit to dwell within us, we can be taught, guided, and shown all things that can help us and keep us. This spirit is the Holy Spirit, and it has supernatural abilities.

The power from the Holy Spirit that is working in us will give us strength to forgive our enemies and make them our friends. One of the purposes of the power working in us is to glorify God and to expand the reach of His Kingdom.

We can become resilient and ambassadors of God’s Kingdom through this power. By submitting ourselves to Jesus Christ we can be patient and learn how to overcome temptation which will give us the benefits of joy, endurance, and resilience.
