"Don't Take It Personal"

Senior Pastor Travis Tullis reminded us to stop being our own worst critic. This week’s sermon was entitled “Don’t Take It Personal.” The focus scriptures were Luke 23:32-35, 1 Corinthians 2:8, 2 Timothy 2:24-25, and Romans 14:23.

Senior Pastor Tullis encouraged us to know that Jesus was mocked while He was on earth, but He still forgave.

If you were called ugly, know that God made you beautiful. Restoring our relationship with God is what we should take personally. This helps us to have a forgiving heart. There is no impact of poisonous words when we are Christ-minded.

Thank you, Senior Pastor Tullis, for delivering this strong message from God. This will lead us onward and upward together as we continue to know how to not take it personally when others hurt our hearts.
