"No Fear, No Wisdom"
Proverbs 9:10 says, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding."
Assistant Pastor Darcey Stewart Jr. reminds us through scriptures, Proverbs 8:13, 9:10,11:2,16:5-6,16:18-19, Numbers 12:1-13 and Ecclesiastes 12:13 that we cannot be okay with skipping the beginning of our walk with God by lacking wisdom.
God’s wisdom keeps us out of the line of fire. As a result, we can set aside our pride and triumph over the traps set by the enemy and follow God. Proverbs 5:3 says, "Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished."
God is aware of what we need; therefore, we can continue to trust Him. By trusting in His will rather than our own, and obeying His commandments, we can be assured that God is still with us no matter the situation.
Thank you, AP Stewart, for giving us this powerful message from God. It will help us move forward and higher together by letting us know that pride is the birth of sin, but the fear of God is true wisdom.
