Stop to Start

Reflecting helps us to critically review our past actions and acknowledge our mistakes. This creates opportunities for us to humble ourselves and seek forgiveness from God.

Through the process of reflecting, we might feel guilty about the mistakes we have made. But Jesus Christ gives us the ability to confess our sins by coming to Him so we can surrender ourselves and accept His grace. By faith, every believer can “Stop to Start” over again while seeking God’s Kingdom first.

Senior Pastor Travis Tullis urges us through scriptures John 12:20-33, that we must deny ourselves, completely surrendering to God, which will enable us to bear much fruit and receive many blessings.

When we are starting over again, it's important to break from our old selfish ways, commit to God's ways, and live in His Kingdom. This will help us to make room for God’s blessings. To do this, we must repent from anything that stops us from putting God in His proper place, which is, He is first. By making room for God in our lives, we open ourselves up to His transformative power.
