Sunday Service - “Broken In Places Nobody Can See”
In Elder Gina Hunter’s sermon, “Broken In Places Nobody Can See,” we are reminded that God meets us in our pain, restores us through His mercy, and draws us closer to Him through our struggles. The focus scriptures are Psalm 119:67-71, Lamentations 3:22-23, and Luke 8:43-44.
Psalm 119:67 says, “Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.” This verse shows that times of suffering can lead us back to God, helping us surrender our pain to Him and walk in renewed obedience.
Our deepest wounds can draw us back to God and remind us of our need for His guidance and grace. Even when others cannot see our pain, God does, and He offers new mercy, hope, and healing each day. In the same way, the church should reflect His love by welcoming, encouraging, and supporting those carrying unseen burdens.
Thank you, Elder Hunter, for this powerful word from God. It reminds us that nothing is too broken for God to restore and heal. This will allow us to go forward and higher together while learning how to surrender ourselves to God’s will, we become people who bare lasting fruit in His Kingdom Community.
