"Love the Truth and Live" Part 1

Proverbs 30:5- 6 says, "Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and be found a liar."

Senior Pastor Travis Tullis tells us we must love the truth, which is God’s Word, and we must live out His word as we hear and receive His knowledge through scriptures Proverbs 30:5-6, Proverbs 1:20-33, 1 John 2:16,1 Thessalonians 2:11-13, Matthew 5:26-25, and Matthew 28:19.

1 John 2:16 says, "For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." When we open our ears to hear God's word, we must open our hearts to receive His desire and not our own desires. While we take in the knowledge of God's truth, we can become alive through Him and receive forgiveness from Him and become courageous, bold, joyful and in so doing we are at peace with Him. For this to occur, our belief system must be aligned with God's word, which is the only truth, and we attain this through His spirit.
