"Love the Truth and Live" Part 2

During Jesus's trial before His crucifixion in John 18:38, "Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all."

Through scriptures such as John 17:17, 18:38, 1 Peter 1:23, Romans 8:35-39, and 1:18-32, Senior Pastor Travis Tullis continues to remind us that Jesus, being the unblemished lamb of God, is the only truth that matters.

John 1:1 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Knowing God's word allows us to walk in the truth, freeing us from all darkness. John 1:3-5 tells us, "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." The life of God is in us by His word. This means we should not suppress God's word and truth, which if we do, will bring unrighteousness and wrath.

Thank you, Senior Pastor Tullis, for leading us forward and higher together by letting us know that if we continue to walk in God's truth, nothing can separate us from His love. This gives us strength to face tomorrow because through God’s word, the light of Jesus lives in us.
