Sunday Service “Fruitful Through the Cross” Part 5

Apr 5, 2026    Sr. Pastor Travis M. Tullis

In the fifth part of the “Fruitful Through the Cross” series, titled “From Cross To Harvest,” Senior Pastor Travis Tullis emphasizes 1 Corinthians 15:20-23 during this Resurrection Sunday. “But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.” The message also references key scriptures such as Matthew 28:1-7, Acts 20:7, Colossians 2:16, Matthew 11:28, and 1 Corinthians 16:2.

When Jesus rose on the first day of the week, everything changed. What seemed like a tragedy in the crucifixion was actually part of God’s greater strategy. During a time of political turbulence and uncertainty, God used this moment to bring forth the Gospel. As a result, Jesus died and rose on the third day so that we might have life—and have it more abundantly. Because Jesus rose, we can rise from sin and shame and live fruitful lives.

Thank you, Senior Pastor Tullis, for leading us forward and higher together and for reminding us that we are called to be fruitful image bearers and fulfill God’s original design. Through the cross, by denying ourselves and learning to surrender to His will, we become people who bare lasting fruit in His Kingdom Community.
