Sunday Service "The God Who Is Personal”

As believers, we must first recognize that God is the Creator of all things and that He desires a personal relationship with each of us, His children. However, with that understanding comes a very important warning: we must be vigilant not to fall into the trap warned about in the Bible. In Romans 1:25, we are warned about the kingdom of darkness “Who changed the truth of God into a lie and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen."

Senior Pastor Travis Tullis emphasized that this is “The God Who Is Personal.” The focus scriptures are John 6:28-29; John 17:1-3, and John 1:14.

The loving, holy, relational, omnipotent, and just God is most clearly seen in His willingness to come down from Heaven, taking on human flesh, to show us how to live as Christ did. As John 1:14 says, “And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth.” God has placed His Spirit within us so that we might believe in Him—not merely as a distant deity but as a spiritual being who walks with us, knows our needs, and speaks to our hearts.
