Sunday Worship "Believe God"

Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

Elder Andrea Hancock tells us through scriptures Proverbs 3:5-7 and Acts 4:10-12 that we must continue to trust and believe God no matter the situation. 

When life seems overwhelming and uncertain, we might feel that we are losing, and through our troubling experiences it is easy to lean to our own understanding. But during this time, we should trust and believe that God is holding our tomorrow in His hands, and everything will work out according to his will for our lives. Know that through our troubling experiences, we can find ourselves winning because of the gift God gave us, which is Jesus Christ, the gift of eternal life. 

“Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.” Acts 4:10-11. If we lift up Christ, He will draw all people unto Him. This reminds us that a believer, standing on the Word of God, giving witness of Jesus Christ, can overcome a lie.
