Sunday Worship "Multiplying for the Kingdom"

Matthew 13:31-32 shares a powerful parable, 'The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.' This parable underscores the immense potential for growth in our discipleship, no matter how small we may feel at the beginning.

Senior Pastor Travis Tullis emphasized that growing into discipleship will lead to the process of "Multiplying for the Kingdom." The focus scriptures are Matthew 13:31-33, 1 Thessalonians 1:6-8, and Psalm 51:12-13.

It takes a while for seeds to grow, which is like our discipleship. During our trials and tribulations, we are growing to become the discipleships that Jesus had intended us to be in His name. This will enable us to have an impact on others, whose experiences will be influenced by ours. "And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost. So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia. For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing."
