Sunday Worship "Know To Grow"

2 Peter 1:6-8 says, "And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Senior Pastor Travis Tullis tells us through scriptures 2 Peter 1:1-8, James 1:13-15, James 1:2, Job 14:1, 1 Peter 1:7-9, and Psalm 127:1 that we must continue in the knowledge of God to grow with the foundation that Christ has already built.

Through the knowledge of God, we grow in grace, enabling us to obey Him as we learn from Jesus' ways. "Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue." 2 Peter 1:2-3. When we have the knowledge of Jesus Christ, we can become overcomers, enabling us to grow in our faith journey.
