"Rooted & Grounded to Go Deeper & Higher"

Psalm 1:1- 3 says, "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."

Senior Pastor Travis Tullis tells us through scriptures Psalms 1:1-3, Matthew 13:4-8, Jeremiah 17:5-10, and Colossians 2:6-8 that we must be rooted and grounded in the Word of God to go deeper and higher to generate good fruit.

When we open our eyes to God's word, our roots can receive the living water that grounds and waters us, allowing us to go deeper in our spiritual growth to produce good fruit. "As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving." Colossians 2:6.
