"Foundation & Focus"

"Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone." Ephesians 2:19-20.

Senior Pastor Travis Tullis helps us understand through scriptures such as Proverbs 24:16, Matthew 21:42, Matthew 7:24-26, Psalms 118:22-24, Psalms 62:6, Psalms 16:8, 1 Corinthians 3:11, Ephesians 2:19-22, and Hebrews 12:1-3, how to have a solid foundation and a clear focus on Jesus Christ being the rock and salvation of our life. 

A foundation must have a cornerstone to stand on, which means as Christians Jesus Christ is our chief cornerstone. Knowing that Jesus is the chief cornerstone of our faith is vital for building a solid, unmovable foundation in Christ." For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ." 1 Corinthians 3:11. This encourages us to focus on the sacrifice that Jesus made so that we might have joy even during challenging times. Therefore, with our foundation and focus on Jesus Christ, we can be disciplined to endure, laying down our burdens and persevering in our race to glory where we shall meet Him one day.
